I want a basilisk stuff head for my home. I'm at level at 61 in slaying and am level 70 for construction. I own a ring of wealth. I just killed 386 basilisks, and have not lost a head to any of it. It's my third time there. I've already killed more than 100 basilisks previously. My friend was able to win the head contest with only 20 kills. Another player says he has about 12.

There is a strategy for staking or dueling that I've seen: Wear weak armour. When the stake (or duel) is underway it is time to wear your finest "guns" or armour. You win the stake or duel!
