McShay has Miami edge rusher Jaelan Phillips coming off of the board to Tennessee at pick 22, filling an obvious need for the team. They can have zero players reach six sacks and just one record more than three. Phillips had eight last season at Miami, and his suddenness would give opponents something to worry about off the edge. Phillips is a former top overall recruit who signed with UCLA as a five-star prospect. He transferred to Miami for his final season of college football, where he was able to get home for eight sacks. McShay mock saw three consecutive edge prospects come off of the board, with the Colts landing Gregory Rousseau, the Titans taking Phillips, and the Jets taking Azeez Ojulari. Like Kiper mock, McShay projected some trades in his latest projection. The Panthers jumped up to No. 3 to take Justin Fields after trading with the Dolphins, while Miami slid back and still landed Devonta Smith with the eighth pick.
